Bank of India offers home loans for different groups of customers under different parameters. The borrowers are categorized into groups like salaried employees, self employed individuals, chartered accountants, doctors and partnership firms. Gross annual incomes of persons belonging to any of these categories are taken into account while determing the maximum amount of a loan one can apply for.
For salaried employees, the upper limit is 48 times of gross monthly salary or 4 times of gross annual income. Similar is the case with self-employed individuals. Chartered accountants, on the other hand, are eligible for five times their gross annual income. Doctors can obtain as much as six times of their gross annual income. A partnership firm or company can get four times of cash accruals under the Bank of India Home Loan Scheme. |
