Indian Bank Charges Interest Rates Based on A BPLR Of 12.50%

Indian Bank has revised lending rates on home loans according to its current BPLR of 12.50 percent. Under the present scheme of home loans, the bank charges a floating interest rate of 9 percent for loan amount upto Rs 20 lakhs taken for a a maximum repayment period of 5 years. The interest rate on the same amount taken for upto 10, 15 and 20 years would be 9.25%, 9.50% and 10% respectively.

Indian Bank charges more rate for home loans exceeding Rs 20 lakhs. The floating rate of interest for home loans between Rs 20-30 lakhs taken for 5, 10, 15 and 20 years would be 9.50%, 9.75%, 10.00% and 10.50%. On the other hand, the floating interest rate for a loan amount exceeding Rs 30 lakhs upto Rs 2 crores would be 10.00%, 10.25%, 10.50% and 11.00 percent.
